The biggest threat in our game appeared to be the Ice Cream truck with an improvised cattle-catcher at the front, yet surprisingly I won with a cherry-red Cadillac Eldorado with a machine gun in the passenger's seat and a mine-layer poking out of the back, just like Elvis would drive if he survived a nuclear holocaust. The big appeal is that you're encouraged to make your own vehicles, usually out of Hot Wheels-scale cars that have been converted with whatever old crap you like to make them appear post-apocalyptic. Using the bigger sticks to go faster meant that your car was more stressed and more prone to explode, slowing down meant that your car de-stressed and you could gun it harder later on. It was quite a while ago so I don't remember the specific rules, but from what I do recall it was vaguely similar to X-Wing in that you use movement 'sticks' to map out where you're moving every turn, then rolling dice to shoot at/ram the other players a la Mad Max.

Still, all four of us (including 3 newbies) managed to finish a chaotic, haphazard game in well under two hours, by the end of which all of us were pretty confident with the rules.

Any fun? How complex are the rules and how much time to learn or play a game?I had a friend teach me to play, and he supplied all the minis and necessary stuff to get us going so it was a lot quicker than doing it solo.
